Meet Our First Lady:  Ursula Carolina

First Lady Ursula Carolina was born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Compton, California and attended elementary, middle and high school in Compton as well as attended Compton Community and South West College in Los Angeles, California.  She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and became a member of Temple Missionary Baptist Church in San Bernardino, California under the leadership of Pastor Raymond Turner, where she organized the Youth & Young Adult Usher Board.

She moved to Perris, California in 1995 and the family joined Life Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Bishop Ron M. and First Lady LaVette D. Gibson. They were members there for 11 years and served as New Members Orientation Directors, and held the office of Vice-President and President of the Minister’s Wives Ministry.

In 2007, they moved to Atlanta and joined Salem Bible Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor Jasper Williams Jr. /Vice Pastor Joseph Williams.

She has a heart for the spiritual development of women and high school teenage girls. She is founder and CEO of “Phenomenal Sisters Big Hat Tea” with co-founder and daughter, Brandie.  Together they launched this ministry after her younger sister was diagnosed with breast cancer.

When she is not serving in ministry, a distinguished woman in her own right, First Lady Ursula is an entrepreneur and businesswoman.  Her professional life includes working at Occidental Life Insurance Company, United Health Plan, The United States Postal Service and York Temp Agency.

She is a certified travel agent and owner of a travel business which is in its pre-launch.

Lady Ursula alongside her husband and hearing the voice of God took the leap of faith and launched “Impact Church Ministries” on April 16, 2017, Easter Sunday in Covington, Georgia.

She also relishes her other roles as the director of the Women & Family Life Ministries at Impact Ministries Church. With the goal of “developing dynamic families,” she oversees many more ministries related to men, women, and families.

The Lord continues to use this well-respected, godly woman to train other Christian women to reach their full spiritual potential through Impact Ministries retreats and conferences that draws women from near and far.

First Lady Ursula Carolina is married to the love of her life, Harrison J. Carolina.  He was the boy next door.  The couple has been married for 43 years and together they are the proud parents of three beautiful adult children; Donshay, Brandie (Lee) and Dion Carolina and they have nine grandchildren.
