Pastor Harrison J. Carolina

Pastor Harrison J. Carolina was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He’s affectionately known as H.J. He was raised in the city of Compton, California where he attended elementary, junior and high school. Harrison was raised in the church and as a young boy attended New Holy Trinity Baptist Church, where the late Reverend J.L. Tucker was his Pastor. He served as a deacon, chairman/vice chairman at Temple Missionary Baptist Church in San Bernardino, California. He was later ordained a deacon at St. Timothy Community Church in San Bernardino, California under the leadership of the late Reverend Johnny Brown. In 1987, it was prophesied by his former Pastor Jasper Williams Jr. of Salem Bible Church in Atlanta, Georgia that he would preach the gospel.

In October 1990, he accepted the call to preach God’s Holy word. Pastor Raymond Turner of Temple Missionary Baptist Church invited him to the pulpit on December 31, 1990, on New Year’s Eve Watch Night Service to preach his first sermon entitled “A Ball of Confusion.” In 1995, Pastor Carolina and his family joined Life Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder (Bishop) Ron M. and First Lady LaVette D. Gibson, where he and his wife labored for 11 years. He was ordained an elder in 1999 under the jurisdiction of Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake.

In 2007, Harrison moved his family to Atlanta, Georgia. After years of wrestling with God, he answered the call and assignment to pastor in 2013. April 2, 2015, Impact Church Ministries was established and on April 16, 2017, Resurrection Sunday, Impact Church Ministries was launched with God’s divine ordination. Pastor Carolina is creating a cultivating an authentic church experience that glorifies God and exceeds all expectations. He says God told him to have compassion for his people. There is a great desire to build purpose, power, and praise in God’s people that will yield results in the kingdom of God. Pastor Carolina planning to attend the Living Waters Bible Seminary in Conyers, Georgia. On May 1, 1976, he married his childhood sweetheart “the girl next door,” Ursula D. Carolina, of 43 years.

Pastor and First Lady Carolina are committed to parental oversight of three adult children Donshay, Brandie, and Dion Carolina. They are the proud grandparents of 9 grandchildren, Dion Jr., Dillon, Daylan, Dior, Dallas, Donovan, D’aire, DeAvionne, and Khassey. He is grateful to God for children and grandchildren. He began his career in 1977 at the United States Post Office where he worked for 23 years. After many years of being an employee, Pastor Carolina took the entrepreneur leap of faith and started Carolina Trucking. He also shared a home-based business with his wife as a certified travel agent.
